Hi, thanks for visiting, my name is Jo, Mum to two teenage boys, lover of chocolate and babies, hater of ironing and the owner of a crazy cat called "Boo". I specialise in Newborn and Family Photography and am delighted to have been voted "Swindon's Top Family photographer" for 2023 / 2025 by Three Best Rated on quality, service, value for money and most importantly Customer reviews.
Over the last fifteen years I have had the honour of photographing close to 14,000 babies in Swindon and Wiltshire, some of which were just a couple of hours old!
I have handled, settled and posed more newborns than most photographers would dream of in a lifetime and am touched to know that so many of my clients proudly display my beautiful images on their walls.
My style is soft, creamy, earthy tones and primarily anything that looks and feels snuggly for your baby to wear or be wrapped in, I love a soft cashmere wrap, artificial fur or fluffy blanket. I always handle babies the way I did my own with love and care, being responsive to every whimper allowing parents to relax and really enjoy the experience you have invested in.
My cosy home studio is based in Abbey Meads SN25. I would be pleased to welcome you here and I always have a hot or cold drink for you and a good selection of snacks for all the busy parents who miss breakfast.

All Inclusive packages
No-one likes hidden extras, especially when you inevitably fall in love with all of your images! So the following packages are available for either;
Newborn, Older baby, Family (up to 5 in Studio) or Maternity shoots.
Lets just make life easy, Three different Packages to hopefully suit everyones pockets and desire for the amount of variety in your images.They all include:
-Pre-session planning of colours, props and style to ensure I capture the images that will look good in your home
-Full use of my selection of backdrops, props, clothes and wraps
- Complimentary refreshments for you and a built in babysitter so you can relax, soak in the experience, and watch me work
-A quality selection of images, hand edited by myself and then presented to you on a beautiful Gallery and Slideshow
-A loyalty discount for life as your little one grows, capturing all of those special Milestones
I take reservations for Newborn sessions after you have had your 20 week scan, this then guarantees you an appointment within 14 days of the baby's birth. Without reserving there can be around a six week wait for an appointment so definitely something to add to your "to do" list before baby arrives.
Once you have decided the session you would like simply send me an email with your due date and I can confirm I have availability in that month for you. Babies often arrive early or late, it's no problem, once a session is reserved you just pop me a message when little one is here, I then send over a choice of appointments for you to choose from.
Sessions & Prices
Bronze
In one hour you will be amazed to see how many lovely varied images I can capture. You are welcome for a fun, fast session. Perfect for Maternity or for updating your Family Images. Approximately fifteen carefully hand edited images will be presented on your personal Gallery from you can choose your favourite three images which are released to you digitally on high resolution Jpeg files. Furthermore, these images will also be printed on fine Lustre paper in 7 x 5" size ready to be framed.
(Monday- Friday Appointments one hour session, one Backdrop/Set up - £20 deposit)

Silver
The perfect session for Baby, Parents and Siblings. Two different Prop set ups (if Newborn e.g Bucket, Baby Bed.) Two different Backdrops. Outfit change for everyone. The Gallery will contain at least Twenty Five hand edited images of which you choose your favourite ten images which you receive digitally and five of these images are printed in 7 x 5" size on quality fine Lustre paper. Maximum 2 hours studio time
(Monday - Saturday Appointments up to two hours £25 deposit)

For either of these sessions additional Digital images, Prints and Canvases may be added on later at a very reasonable price.
Gold
The most amazing value and selection of creative images. Numerous set-ups, props and imaginative Photography involving the whole family. Two outfit changes welcome. All of the carefully edited images, of which there will be at least twenty five (often more) are included in the cost. There will be a varied selection of black and white too. You receive a keepsake USB in a presentation box which also contains five quality 10 x 8" and ten 7 x 5" Fine Lustre prints of your favourites images.
(Monday - Sunday Appointments- up to 3 hours - this session can be in your home if more convenient for you, a maximum of 20 miles from Swindon please- £50 deposit)

1st and 2nd Birthday Celebrations
Birthday Party and Cake Smash
What better way to celebrate your little one's first birthday with a fun photoshoot. We sing songs, play with balloons and bubbles and generally have a party! I provide a choice of birthday backdrop, streamers, decorations and balloons to coordinate with the outfit that you choose to bring for baby.
If you'd like a fun theme to capture you're little one's personality I can offer- Cars, Peter Rabbit, "Wild One" Safari, Dinosaurs, Woodland Teddy Bears Picnic, Rainbows, Flowers, Fairies and Dancing Fruit. (new backdrops coming for 2026 too!)
To make it truly memorable why not bring along a cake of your choice (stand provided) and we can watch the craziness that ensues once they realise it's all for them to do with as they wish! sticky toes guaranteed!
All this for just £175! (the same as a silver session) with the same hand edited Gallery for you to choose ten digital images with five of which are printed in 7x5" on fine lustre paper.

Birthday Party, Cake Smash & Bubbly Splash
If you are bringing a cake we may as well let the excitement continue. All babies love a splash either my large bucket or cute miniature bath with warm water and bubbles, it saves you a sticky car seat as well! this also means a larger and more varied selection of hand edited images in your Gallery to choose from. For some additional time of bubbly fun its just £225 to include the favourite twelve digital images of your choice, and six prints, or why not upgrade to the Gold Session at £275 and receive all of the hand edited images on a decorative usb, together with a box containing five 10x8" and ten 7x5" fine Lustre prints ready to frame.
